She admitted to using alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs but denies the usage of crack. Houston started using drugs in the 1990’s after she married Bobby Brown when Michael Houston introduced her to drugs. Her death was caused by drowning, heart disease and cocaine in the bathroom of a hotel at the age of 48 in 2012. She went to rehab in 2004 and she returned a year later to rehabilitation do to drugs again. In 2011 she enrolls in an outpatient rehabilitation program. It was believed that she was rehabilitated until her death in 2012 claimed otherwise. The actions of Whitney Houston affected a lot of people especially when she died because everybody loved her. She was an icon that still is adored to this day so it was really heartbreaking for everyone when she died.
