Kurt was addicted to heroin. He also suffered from depression and an uncomfortable stomach condition. He used drugs when he was younger but left them. That was until he met Courtney Love, the woman he married. He started to use heroin in the early years of Nirvana. He went to rehab in 1992 but that didn’t last long because he relapsed and had an overdose but survived it. In 1994 he had another overdose followed by many others. His family and friends tried making him go to rehab but he left soon after getting there. He had heroin on his system when he committed suicide by firing a shotgun to his head. When the news got out that he committed suicide his family and friends were filled with guilt and regret for not finding him sooner and for leaving him alone in the days leading to his death. Everyone was pointing fingers while others said that he died a coward. He saved so many people with his music but he couldn’t save himself. His fans were so heartbroken and depressed because Kurt Cobain was their hero, some even committed suicide.
